Introduction

 

a. Ar(n)t Write (hereinafter "the Website") is a web-based platform.

b. The goal of the Website is to promote artist writing about there artists and foster community spirit.

c. The Website submissions are open to any living amateur or professional artist without limitation based on age, nationality, race, gender or place of residence.

e. The successful submissions will be posted on the website and other related social media platforms.

f. Texts submitted for the consideration by the Website are not restricted to any specific literary forms.

g. The main subject matter of the submissions has to deal with another artist.

 

1. Submissions

1.1. General submission guidelines

1.1.1. A call for submissions is published on the https://artisttoartist.wixsite.com/home website and announced on the Web in general.

1.1.2. To participate, artists must complete a submission form on the website.

1.1.3. The amount of submissions is unrestricted.

1.1.4. The call for submissions is announced on the Website in advance.

 

1.2. Submission form.

1.2.1. The submission form is to be filled out online.

1.2.2. The submission form is divided into 2 parts: the online form and the photo submissions attached to a provided email.

1.2.3. Artists must present text and photo submissions.

1.2.4. All submission forms will be reviewed by the Website staff.

1.2.5. Any artist who provides untrue information, is not the author of the text presented, or have insulted the other candidates, the Website staff, or have a disrespectful attitude in general will be banned from entering any submissions upon further notice.

 

2. Duties of the Website staff

2.1. Selection of submissions

2.1.1. The Website staff (hereinafter “the staff”) selects the texts which will be published.

2.1.2. The staff members change on a case by case scenario and their names may be disclosed upon request.

2.1.3. The staff selects the successful submissions based on their subjective opinions.

2.1.4. The successful submissions are announced by the staff. The announcement is made by email to the artist.

2.1.5.  The successful submissions are posted on the official web-based platform, related social media platforms and some are reprinted in a physical format.

 

3. Copyright

3.1. Artists who have made a submission retain ownership of all of their copyrights regarding the texts and photographs and information contained in their submission form.

3.2. The artists whose submissions were picked grant the Website a free right to reproduce the content of their submission form and photo submissions for an unlimited period of time. This right is limited to communications and publications made by the Website (publications on the website, publications on social networks, reprinting in physical form etc.)

 

4. Personal data

4.1. The Website ensures that no personal information will be requested from the artists that is not truly useful for reviewing their submission.

4.2. The artists agree and accept that their personal data will be processed by the Website staff.

 

5. Acceptance

​

5.1. By participating, the artist acknowledges that they are familiar with these regulations and expressly accept them without reservation.
